I would like a PHP server running concurrently, but can’t seem to get it to work, probably because of some port conflict. Can you point me to a place that will take me step by step through how to have these web servers running concurrently on my PC? Thanks, Steve November 19th, 2011 at 3:52 AM #3107 Bryan HadawayKeymaster Hi Steve, Actually, Windows isn’t the best environment for PHP or web design in general, Linux is. That is if we’re talking about popular web standards. Windows is indeed the right server for .NET. I’ll assume you’ve already seen this reference: http://php.net/manual/en/install.windows.php Is there a reason you’re doing your own hosting can I ask, or is this just a test environment for projects?
